Join our team: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Rutland County, Vermont. You will work on a lift modernisation project. What we are looking for: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota The role involves: • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
