Concrete finisher • Pulaski County, Arkansas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Pulaski County, Arkansas. You will be based at a ready-mix concrete plant. On the job you will handle: • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade Requirements: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage Six days a week, one day off.
