Gas service engineer • Ezeagu, Enugu State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Ezeagu, Enugu State. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces The role involves: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
