Fabricator-welder • Washington County, Arkansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Washington County, Arkansas. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Day to day you will read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Rotating shifts.
