Vacancy available: PVC window installer (North Carolina)

Now hiring: we are hiring a PVC window installer in Hertford County, North Carolina. You will work at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. You will fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
