MIG/MAG welder • Gregory County, South Dakota

We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Gregory County, South Dakota. The job is at an automobile body shop. Your main tasks: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
