Press machine operator wanted in Orleans Parish

Immediate opening: we are hiring a press machine operator in Orleans Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a packaging factory. You should have: • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills Your main tasks: • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches Rotating shifts.
