Coating plant operator • Warren County, Virginia

Join our team: we are hiring a coating plant operator in Warren County, Virginia. You will be based at a powder coating unit. Day-to-day duties: • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns Ideal candidate: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
