Now hiring: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Bassa, Plateau State. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Willing to work shifts and overtime On the job you will handle: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around ₦1,700 per hour, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
