GTAW welder — Tuscaloosa County

Now hiring: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Your main tasks: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise Full-time with occasional weekends.
