Natural gas fitter • Hodgeman County, Kansas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Hodgeman County, Kansas. The job is at a busy gas installation company. Your main tasks: • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
