We are recruiting: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Pitkin County, Colorado. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate On a typical shift you will season and marinate meat on request; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts.
