Vacancy available: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Rockcastle County, Kentucky. You will be based at a glazing and fabrication factory. Requirements: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings On the job you will handle: • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals Full-time, day shift.
