Truck driver wanted in Dundee City

Immediate opening: we are hiring a truck driver in Dundee City, Scotland. The job is at a busy distribution depot. Ideal candidate: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel Day-to-day duties: • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
