Single needle operator • Ijumu, Kogi State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a single needle operator in Ijumu, Kogi State. The job is at a busy garment factory. Day-to-day duties: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching Ideal candidate: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
