Finishing presser • Northampton County, Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a finishing presser in Northampton County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
