Now hiring: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Petroleum County, Montana. Day-to-day duties: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
