Immediate opening: we are hiring a cement mason in Benton County, Tennessee. On a typical shift you will carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors. Requirements: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Six days a week, one day off.
