Powder coating technician wanted in City of York

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a powder coating technician in City of York, England. You will be based in a busy paint shop. Day-to-day duties: • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around £2,300 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
