JCB operator • Southern Ijaw, Bayelsa State

Now hiring: we are hiring a JCB operator in Southern Ijaw, Bayelsa State. You will be based in a demolition and site-clearance yard. You will carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers. What we are looking for: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
