Earthmoving plant operator — Sullivan County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Sullivan County, New Hampshire. The job is at a plant hire yard. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures Your main tasks: • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
