Great opportunity: we are hiring a construction mazdoor in Sacramento County, California. The job is on a building construction site. On the job you will handle: • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour You should have: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
