Aluminium TIG welder — Inyo County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Inyo County, California. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. The role involves read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
