Day to day you will mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Good eye for colour matching and blending Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience.
