The role involves: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables You should have: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
