We are recruiting: we are hiring a joiner in Seneca County, New York. Day to day you will measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops. What we are looking for: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
