Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Osage County, Kansas. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances On a typical shift you will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
