Automotive paint technician — York County

Join our team: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in York County, South Carolina. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand The role involves: • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $250 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
