Great opportunity: elevator service technician (Nebraska)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Franklin County, Nebraska. You will work on a high-rise construction site. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Valid driving licence for site call-outs The role involves: • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
