Vacancy available: we are hiring an external wall insulation fitter in Otsego County, New York. The job is in lofts and crawl spaces. Day to day you will carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape. What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
