Steel fixer • Ottawa County, Ohio

Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixer in Ottawa County, Ohio. You will work on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. On a typical shift you will keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
