Safety officer wanted in Austin County

Join our team: we are hiring a safety officer in Austin County, Texas. The job is in a warehouse and logistics yard. Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate The role involves: • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
