Ladle pourer — Washington County

Now hiring: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Washington County, Tennessee. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Basic grinding and fettling skills Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
