Now hiring: gtaw welder (Georgia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Twiggs County, Georgia. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. Day to day you will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). You should have: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Own basic hand tools and PPE Meals and transport allowance provided.
