Aluminium TIG welder — Jefferson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Jefferson County, Georgia. The job is on a structural steel site. Requirements: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Day-to-day duties: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec 5+ years on the tools preferred.
