Vacancy available: we are hiring a power float operator in Borough of Swindon, England. The job is at a precast concrete yard. On a typical shift you will discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour. You should have: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet 3+ years on the tools preferred.
