Offshore rigger wanted in Skagway Municipality

Join our team: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Skagway Municipality, Alaska. The role involves: • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket 3+ years on the tools preferred.
