Immediate opening: AC and fridge repair technician (Alabama)

Join our team: we are hiring an AC and fridge repair technician in Sumter County, Alabama. The job is at a busy refrigeration workshop. Requirements: • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms Day-to-day duties: • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves 4+ years on the tools preferred.
