Urgent requirement: VMC operator (Delaware)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a VMC operator in New Castle County, Delaware. You will be based in a toolroom. What we are looking for: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work The role involves apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts. Rotating shifts. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
