Maintenance painter • Plymouth, England

Immediate opening: we are hiring a maintenance painter in Plymouth, England. You will be based in a factory paint shop. You will mix and tint paint to match colour swatches; apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller; clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job; strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns; measure up and work out paint and material quantities; spray emulsion and enamel using HVLP and airless spray guns. Requirements: • A good eye for clean lines and an even finish • Working-at-height / PASMA scaffold ticket an advantage • Reliable, punctual and tidy on site Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. £2,250 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
