Vacancy available: lifting rigger (New Hampshire)

Join our team: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Strafford County, New Hampshire. The job is at a container port. On a typical shift you will fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. Ideal candidate: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Confident with standard crane hand signals Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $2,500 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
