Bar bender and fixer — Garza County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Garza County, Texas. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules On the job you will handle: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
