Reinforcement steel fixer • Carbon County, Utah

Great opportunity: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Carbon County, Utah. Your main tasks: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules What we are looking for: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
