On the job you will handle: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
