GMAW welder — Montcalm County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Montcalm County, Michigan. You should have: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently The role involves: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence 4+ years on the tools preferred.
