Brick and block layer wanted in Ramsey County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Ramsey County, Minnesota. You will work on a new-build development. Ideal candidate: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Your main tasks: • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
