TIG welder wanted in Phelps County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a TIG welder in Phelps County, Missouri. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut You should have: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Pay around $23 per hour, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
