Horizontal milling machine operator • East Feliciana Parish, Louisiana

Join our team: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in East Feliciana Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. On the job you will handle: • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square Ideal candidate: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Full-time with occasional weekends.
