Great opportunity: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in Floyd County, Virginia. Requirements: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold The role involves charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; fault-find control boards and defrost timers; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
