Great opportunity: we are hiring a stitching operator in Madera County, California. The job is at a busy garment factory. Requirements: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Day to day you will match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
